What costs are incurred when buying real estate?

As a rule, ancillary purchase costs of around 2.7% are incurred in addition to the purchase price (notary, land register, state fees). For owner-occupied residential property up to CHF 800,000, there is no transfer tax of 1.8%.

Does Hauenstein Immobilien also rent out apartments?

Yes, some of our new-build apartments remain in the portfolio and are let directly by us. We manage the properties and look after the tenants personally.

What does the real estate portfolio comprise?

Our portfolio includes hotels and restaurants, residential and commercial buildings (apartment buildings, Hohamd business park, retirement apartments) and various individual properties.

What infrastructure does Hohmadpark offer?

The development offers a central location close to the hospital, shops, train, bus and boat. The rent includes a 24-hour emergency call system, and services such as Spitex, laundry service and pedicure can also be booked. There are also discounts at the Burehuus restaurant, senior gymnastics and regular events.

Yes, we have had 61 barrier-free retirement apartments in Hohmadpark in Thun since 2007. These enable independent living in old age, supplemented by an emergency call system and optional services.

Can I buy apartments or houses from Hauenstein Immobilien?

Yes, we sell apartments, semi-detached and terraced houses as well as detached houses from our new-build projects and from our portfolio. What we do not do is sell residential units for third parties.
