The buyer is responsible for covering the acquisition costs, which include land registration, government fees, and notary expenses, totaling approx. 2.7% of the purchase price. For properties intended for personal use, the transfer tax of 1.8% is not applicable for purchase prices up to CHF 800,000.00.
