Our history dates back to 1954 - when Walter Hauenstein (1st generation of the family business) founded a sole proprietorship. Today, Hauenstein Immobilien AG is an integral part of the Hauenstein Group. Nathalie and Andrea Hauenstein manage the group of companies in the 3rd generation, together with Daniel Eschmann. Hauenstein Immobilien AG is considered one of the leading companies for residential property building in the Lake Thun region. We do not trade in real estate or manage third-party properties - we exclusively design and construct our own real estate projects.
Our 70-year success story is based on broad-based expertise, good networking in the region and short decision-making processes. Together with our customers, we look for optimal solutions. Over 7,000 customers have already placed their trust in our experience and commitment.

We conduct project development of land parcels only within a 45-minute drive of our offices in Gunten on Lake Thun. We build multi-generation housing estates, apartment buildings, and single-family/row houses. By focusing activities within this area, we can closely survey the planning and implementation of a project - and guarantee its success.
The apartments and houses resulting from our new construction projects are sold by us independently. This way we can guarantee that the project management is very familiar with all details and can offer the best possible advice.
Our property portfolio consists of hotels and restaurants, apartment buildings built by us as new construction projects, and various other existing properties.
Some of the newly created apartments are not sold, but remain in our property portfolio and are offered by us for rent. We take over property management and tenant support independently and deal with all tenants' concerns.
The Hauenstein Group owns three hotels and two restaurants in the Lake Thun region. They are managed by the Hauenstein Group under the Hauenstein Hotels brand. As part of our active portfolio management, we are responsible for all renovations, refurbishments and expansion work on the hotel and restaurant facilities.
Project management is carried out by Hauenstein Immobilien AG.
We conduct all of the central services for the entire Hauenstein Group. This includes marketing, finance, IT, administration (e.g. central purchasing) and technical services.
