The two "Earth Houses" were built in Heimberg in 2007 and are among the more special Hauenstein Immobilien AG structures. They were created mostly in an attempt to build under especially difficult conditions. The earth houses were built in accordance with Minergie standards, and form the residential section of the Bürglenweg housing development in Heimberg.
