The land on the Sonnhalde was sold for development by Kaufmann AG in 1991. Our predecessors had a long and rocky legal road behind them before the Sonnhalde building regulations with 140 planned residential units were finally approved. The recession, a forced sale, and changes of ownership followed. On 8 April 2004, we were able to acquire the land parcels, adapt the building regulations to 80 residential units and, in constructive discussions with the municipality and the local association, finally submit the building application in February 2005.
The Sonnhalde development is located on a south-western-facing slope and has a wide selection of living spaces. The development, completed in 2008, includes six panorama houses with 25 5 ½ to 7 ½ room flats, eight residential buildings with 40 3 ½ to 4 ½ room flats, four terraced houses, and a further15 5 ½-room flats.
